Catur Agung Nugroho

Catur Agung Nugroho, a young artist born in Wonosobo in 1999, began his artistic career in 2018. His works explore various materials to be processed into paintings and installations. He is intrigued by local cultural contexts, social realities, history, and the environment, which often serve as inspiration for his works. Catur is actively involved in many art projects and exhibitions, including Arisan Karya Museum MACAN, Nandur Srawung 7, Special Project Jogja Art Week 2020, Asana Bina Seni 2022 by the Jogja Biennale, and others. Additionally, his work has been recognized as the best piece in the Edu Art Award 2020 exhibition and he was one of the finalists in the UOB-POY2021.
