Recapitulating the rich and ancient tale of Wijaya Kusuma – the flower of victory. Through word-of-mouth and written chronicles, it is said that in order to reach where the flower grew and bloomed, forty brave warriors of a Javanese kingdom had to sail through raging seas, sacrifice their lives, and endure endless meditation until the radiant light from Wijaya Kusuma appeared.
Both painful and beautiful, there is nothing like smooth sailing towards life’s greatest offerings. Woven one by one, every piece represents the past intertwined into the present day and the creation of a legend that exists today.
